During the six-day police operation in Singapore, where gambling is prohibited, has been arrested 78 people, organized an underground casino.

 Local police raided many areas near the Jalan Besar, including Chinatown and the Tiong Bahru.

 Of the 78 people arrested 27 men and 10 women on suspicion of organizing illegal gambling. Police also seized 14 computers and cash in the amount of more than 6,500 Singapore dollars ($ 4790).

 In addition, 38 women and three men were prosecuted for crimes related to illegal immigration.


 Law enforcement officials said that those found guilty of organizing illegal gambling, they can be fined up to $ 50,000 or imprisoned for up to three years. To date, the investigation continues.
